Until I started making handmade soaps many years ago, I had no idea of the wonderful virtues of Hemp Seed Butter. I knew that Hemp seeds were good for us to eat, and that they are considered one of the world's most nutritious seeds (rich in two essential fatty acids, linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3)), as well as being made up of 24% protein, but I hadn't thought about Hemp Seed butter or oil applied topically. I simple LOVE this stuff!
Hemp butter is made from hemp seeds, and according to many sources, no hemp seed allergies have ever been reported. It absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling and has a very mild, pleasant scent.
Hemp Seed Butter is created by blendingHemp Seed Oil with hydrogenated vegetable oil to produce a buttery material that is exceptionally creamy and rich.
Some of the products in our collections that use Hemp Seed Butter or Oil are: African Black Soap, our natural Dog Shampoo Soap, our Shaving Soaps, Lip Balms & our Tender Care Emollient Butter.
Don't be afraid of the word "hemp"...it is a natural product and there is no THC within the hempseed itself. Some people call it the "hippie butter", but it certainly deserves recognition as a great skin care product as well as adding hemp seeds to your salad!

Keeping hands clean is one of the most important steps we can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others. Many diseases and conditions are spread by not washing hands with soap and clean, running water.
